The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of heroes who will separate from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party access locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Explorers and Planners tables.

Audiences can look forward to learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
